Kairos Outside of East Texas Ministry!
Kairos Outside is a special weekend retreat designed to support the female loved ones of men and women who are or have been incarcerated. Families of the incarcerated "do time" right along with their loved ones. In a safe environment with loving people, on a Kairos Outside weekend, women interact with other women who are in similar situations and learn to form small support groups to give them strength for the challenges they face.

We need your help. There are many opportunities for you to serve in this ministry. All we ask is that you have a willing heart and a spirit of obedience and you can play a crucial role in God's ministry of Changing Hearts, Transforming Lives and Impacting the World. Here's some basic information to help you "get involved."
Become a KO Team Member
Kairos Outside volunteers come from all walks of life. They all share a desire to follow Christ's admonition of Matthew 25:36, "I was in prison and you visited me." If you feel God's call to minister to the female family member of someone incarcerated, as a part of a Kairos Outside team, Not all team members serve inside the conference room. Female team members often get to serve directly ministering to the female guests on the weekend. Male team members get the opportunity to serve the women and women team members in anonymous support roles. Kairos Outside weekends are usually held at church camps (and similar facilities).
Become a Prayer Partner
All Kairos activities are covered with prayer. You can be a part of that prayer effort. Contact us!
Become a Support Volunteer
Each Kairos retreat weekend has opportunities for outside support, such as serving as an anonymous Angel on a Kairos Outside Team, baking cookies, providinfg agape gifts, helping with decorations or preparing meals. Get your church's Sunday school classes to color placemats for mealtimes during the weekend
Become a Ministry Financial Donor
